weapons of mass destruction

There are several prophecies in the book of Revelation that relate to the end of the age—a somewhat nebulous point in time. In part because the dates have been difficult to identify, our tendency is to ignore the prophecies, or relate to them as interesting literature that bears no genuine connection to life in the 21st century. Knowing when they occur in history enables us to determine what if any attention should be given to them in the context of a specific century, decade, or year. The discussion below demonstrates that certain prophecies demand urgent and immediate action on the part of governments, clergy and ordinary citizens of the world. The discussion will state the prophecy in italics, followed by a brief analysis.

Revelation 9:1-2
The fifth angel sounded his trumpet, and I saw a star that had fallen from the sky to the earth. The star was given the key to the shaft of the Abyss. When he opened the Abyss, smoke rose from it like the smoke from a gigantic furnace. The sun and sky were darkened by the smoke from the Abyss.

References to the stars generally are meant to refer to persons. This Scripture indicates that a spiritual person fell from the height of his spiritual condition and became consumed with deception represented by the smoke rising from the abyss and darkening his and others’ aura. The aura or energy field encircles the body and often is referred to as the sun of righteousness that darkens in relation to sinfulness. In this instance, the key given to him was an evil practice that apparently caused illness or spiritual blockage which also can cause the aura to darken. He was given a key which he had power to reject, but he chose to open “Pandora’s box.”

Revelation 9:3-6
And out of the smoke locusts came down on the earth and were given power like that of scorpions of the earth. They were told not to harm the grass of the earth or any plant or tree, but only those people who did not have the seal of God on their foreheads. They were not allowed to kill them but only to torture them for five months. And the agony they suffered was like that of the sting of a scorpion when it strikes. During those days people will seek death but will not find it; they will long to die, but death will elude them.

The key given to this person was a methodology for torturing humans so mercilessly that they would seek death. The feel is somewhat like being stung by scorpions, but obviously more excruciatingly painful. It is interesting that the methodology initially was used for a five-month period which was the approximate length of the 1990 conflict in the Persian Gulf between Iraq and Kuwait. During Operation Desert Storm, also known as the Persian Gulf War, U.S. President George H.W. Bush accused Saddam Hussein, then the President of Iraq, of using torture on his victims. I believe he used a methodology of “slow kill” torture that utilizes frequency modulated directed energy weapons. These weapons can be targeted at specific organs or portions of the body and cause intense pain without leaving any traceable evidence. Operation Desert Storm began when the U.S. and coalition forces sought to restrain Iraq after it invaded Kuwait in 1990. This timeline suggests that the fifth trumpet of Revelation 9 was sounded in 1990, putting these prophecies squarely within our lifetime.

Revelation 9:7-10
The locusts looked like horses prepared for battle. On their heads they wore something like crowns of gold, and their faces resembled human faces. Their hair was like women’s hair, and their teeth were like lions’ teeth. They had breastplates like breastplates of iron, and the sound of their wings was like the thundering of many horses and chariots rushing into battle. They had tails with stingers, like scorpions, and in their tails they had power to torment people for five months.

The locusts in this prophecy are human beings, specifically Saddam Hussein’s elite pilots that were given authority to mercilessly torture. The crowns of gold on their heads are likely a reference to gold turbans that distinguished them as an elite military group. They were human, but had the faces of evil. The statement that they had hair like women indicates that they were not women, but rather, men with long hair. Many Muslim men wear long hair and these members of Saddam’s army apparently had long hair, wore turbans, and were very ferocious fighters as evidenced by the reference to lion’s teeth.

They had breastplates similar to breastplates of iron because their military strength, capabilities and protections came from the fact that the United States and other European countries had provided massive amounts of military aid to Iraq during the war with Iran from 1980 to 1988, thus enabling and fortifying Iraq’s military prowess. Given the reference to the fact that their wings were like “the thundering of many horses” it seems clear that this arm of Saddam Hussein’s military used helicopters. The tails are a reference to the directed energy which essentially is an energy projectile that travels from the device to the target. The operators in these helicopters appear to have used powerful directed energy weapons to torture individuals on the ground and in buildings.

Revelation 9:11
They had as king over them the angel of the Abyss, whose name in Hebrew is Abaddon and in Greek is Apollyon (that is, Destroyer).

This Scripture confirms that the torturers were from a country whose king or leader was named Destroyer, and Saddam Hussein, was said to have been nicknamed the Destroyer. Thus, it seems that it was Saddam Hussein who first used these directed energy methods of torture and associated Weapons of Mass Destruction that President George H.W. Bush accused him of having, and he apparently began to use them in 1990 during Operation Desert Storm.

Revelation 9:12-16
The first woe is past; two other woes are yet to come.
The sixth angel sounded his trumpet, and I heard a voice coming from the four horns of the golden altar that is before God. It said to the sixth angel who had the trumpet, “Release the four angels who are bound at the great river Euphrates.” And the four angels who had been kept ready for this very hour and day and month and year were released to kill a third of mankind. The number of the mounted troops was twice ten thousand times ten thousand. I heard their number.

At the sixth trumpet, four death angels are released to begin the end-time war against God’s people. I believe that these four death angels were released on September 11, 2001 when the twin towers of the World Trade Center were destroyed, and this event marked the sounding of the sixth trumpet. From 2001 to the end of this new war, Revelation states that one-third of the world’s population will be killed by the Antichrist’s army of two hundred million people. Thus, the deaths on September 11, 2001 were just the beginning. There have been numerous “natural disasters” since then (hurricanes, tsunamis, earthquakes, tornadoes) that I believe were man-made and should be included in the count. In addition, numerous people are now being tortured and killed with similar directed energy weapons used by Saddam Hussein. The weapons have been refined and advanced with powerful micro technology that easily can be uploaded to a Smartphone and used with perhaps greater power and precision by the Antichrist’s army of two hundred million people.

Revelation 9:17-19
The horses and riders I saw in my vision looked like this: Their breastplates were fiery red, dark blue, and yellow as sulfur. The heads of the horses resembled the heads of lions, and out of their mouths came fire, smoke and sulfur. A third of mankind was killed by the three plagues of fire, smoke and sulfur that came out of their mouths. The power of the horses was in their mouths and in their tails; for their tails were like snakes, having heads with which they inflict injury.

These “horses” are similar to the human locusts seen earlier in the chapter but they are not fighter pilots trained by Saddam Hussein. They are ordinary men and women from every religion, profession and socio-economic group who have been recruited into the Antichrist’s army of two hundred million people. That their heads resembled the heads of lions indicates that in the spiritual realm, their head seemed like the head of an animal instead of that of a human being, perhaps because they have been demonized. Further, their thinking is more animalistic than human—they seek to devour for the sake of devouring. Their power is in their weaponry and they have no other genuine authority or source of protection. I believe that the fire or red in their breastplate represents physical destruction, the smoke or dark blue represents their capacity for deception and torture, and the yellow or sulfur represents their fueling of the negative emotions, such as greed and lust, to accomplish their purposes. Thus, their methodology is to launch a three-prong attack physically, spiritually, and emotionally, and all three can be accomplished using their directed energy weapons which are described as “snakes” with heads that inflict injury. Thus, in this instance, the energy projectile from the device to the target is likened to a snake. They will succeed in destroying three billion people, one- third of the earth’s population.

Revelation 9:20-21
The rest of mankind who were not killed by these plagues still did not repent of the work of their hands; they did not stop worshiping demons, and idols of gold, silver, bronze, stone and wood—idols that cannot see or hear or walk. Nor did they repent of their murders, their magic arts, their sexual immorality or their thefts.

These verses indicate that while the events subsequent to the sixth trumpet are proceeding and the Antichrist is quickly gaining ground and annihilating God’s creation, the world continues on its path to destruction unconcerned and unaware. While it is true that the Antichrist and his country have full authority over God’s people for only three and a half years, it is clear from the prophecies that they masterminded the events of September 11, 2001 fourteen years ago, prior to the Antichrist taking formal political office as leader of his country (see The Sons Of Zion versus The Sons Of Greece: The Antichrist Revealed by Rebekah Isaac). They are possibly responsible directly or indirectly for many of the mass murders and “natural disasters” that have occurred since 2001.

When the seventh trumpet is sounded, it will be a signal that the Antichrist’s reign has ended, and “the kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of his Christ” (Revelation 11:15). There are no other interim trumpets waiting to be sounded. I trust we will not need to experience an event of cataclysmic proportions in order for our world to wake up and begin to take note that Judeo-Christian prophecy written thousands of years ago is now being fulfilled in our lifetime.
