The Wall Street Journal reported this week that China's Tsinghua Unigroup Ltd., a state-owned Chinese semiconductor company, made a $23 billion bid to takeover the U.S. company, Micron Technology, Inc. As the Journal reported, Micron is the only remaining U.S. supplier of an important variety of the microchip, which itself is a critical component of the memory-based chips used in smartphones and mobile devices. In addition, memory-based microchips are now being implanted in infants and adults throughout the world. These microchip implants are believed to be the "abomination that causes desolation" described in the book of Daniel, and the "mark of the beast" described in the book of Revelation.
