When God says that we have to wait before we see his promises manifest, the average person feels a sense of frustration. We want instant manifestation, and we want to know and understand exactly what we're waiting for. Most of us have no idea what being in the kingdom of God will be like, other than the few glances of it that we see in the Scriptures. We are waiting for the unknown. We are awaiting a promise that we cannot yet see, nor even fathom, but we wait expectantly, eager to see God at his best, eager to see our hope manifest, eager to see eternity.
