Under Cover Of Darkness

Evenings and nights are not the time to conduct arrests of demonstrators who have done nothing, other than to remove their face masks so as to take a few breaths of fresh air. Of course, these demonstrators also needed oxygen, as did the man in whose name they were demonstrating, and most of them were Black or Hispanic or male.

​They had no prior arrests, and their demand for justice was curtailed by silencing them in the most egregious manner. Justice will be served only when people of every color have the same rights, the same privileges, the same entitlements, and the same right to life. Only then will the demand for justice no longer resonate in the heart of every genuine man or woman of God.
