The idea that one can generate knowledge and wisdom has long been a claim of theosophy practitioners, who believe that wisdom can be theirs for the asking. To them, wisdom is an available planetary resource, such that anyone with the right amount of skill and persistence can access wisdom. But wisdom is not a resource, it is a skill. It is an ability to distinguish the forest from the trees, to set humility asunder and aim for the stars, to become bereft of restraints, and to pour forth knowledge and wisdom as if they both sprung from a bottomless well. It also is an ability to decipher spiritual coding so as to interpret the meaning of events that otherwise might seem mundane to the average observer, or to the casual viewer.
