The Trump Card

There once was a time when the earth functioned in the manner in which God intended it should function. It was a long time ago, prior to Satan's betrayal. Everyone lived as they wanted to live, and did what they wanted to do. No one questioned why someone else had something that they didn't have. They knew that they too could have whatever they wanted.

It was a time when no one stole things that did not belong to them, no one committed adultery, no one committed fraud, and no one lied or engaged in deception. They told truth, and truth alone. They lived with contentment. They lived with passion, and with zeal for God's laws and his requirements.

They knew that only eternity was true, and that death was Satan's punishment for those who chose eternal life with God. But death no longer holds the trump card. Death no longer holds sway over the people of God. The Lord God Almighty is El Shaddai.
