Self-Actualization

Speaking truth to individuals in places of power and authority is rarely if ever done. The assumption is that those in positions of power and authority already know truth, hence their elevation to that place of power. For the vast majority of individuals who have attained power and authority, they did so, not by seeking truth, but by seeking conformity with their peers, and shunning individuality. Their desire to fit into a norm outpaced their desire for self-actualization.

When self-actualization, and forging new paths, becomes secondary to rampant  and monotous conformity, we know that we have created an incestuous society, one that will never reach the highest heights, nor see its deepest joys.

The Lord God Almighty El Shaddai
