In the book of Philemon in the New Testament of the Bible, there is a story of a slave being ill treated by his master. Paul, an apostle of Jesus Of Nazareth, did not deal with the general issue of slavery, which the Bible condemns, but instead, he challenged the master to free the slave. The slave was freed on Paul's account, which means that Paul repaid the master for the amount he had paid for the slave, plus any additional expenses.
This Scripture is a powerful example of the fact that God meets us wherever we are in life. He does not insist that we meet him only at a certain time and place, and only under certain conditions, except the barest minimum standard of righteousness, and a desire for change, a desire to acknowledge that Jesus is Lord. Wherever you are in life, God's indwelling Holy Spirit is available to you as a personal guide, to teach you the ways of God. Accept his guidance and live for all eternity, and all eternity, and all eternities combined. The Lord God Almighty is El Shaddai. The Lord God Almighty is true, and he is faithful. The Lord God Almighty El Shaddai
