Penny Pinchers

The Lord God Almighty knows that pinching pennies can sometimes become a hobby. There are some individuals who enjoy parceling out their pennies and assigning them to different tasks. I was one of those individuals. I earned a good income, but not enough to travel as frequently as I would have liked, so I developed the hobby of penny pinching. I traveled the globe, and saw virtually every corner of it.

Last month, I discovered some papers from my father’s estate that I had never read. I decided to open the package to review the documents. I was shocked to discover that my father had left me sixty million dollars. I set the papers aside in disbelief. When I took them up again a few days later, they revealed the same sixty million dollars.

​I realized that through all the stress of penny pinching, I was a multi-millionaire. I could have traveled first class on every trip, and still not make a dent in my available funds. I know that the Lord God Almighty has amply provided everything I need for the next ten thousand years. The Lord God Almighty is El Shaddai.
