Fooled

Listening to the voice of the Lord God Almighty is like listening to a radio program in which the host is unsure of what he should say. He wants to speak only of what brings joy, but he is forced to reveal the bad news. He wants to speak with eloquence of the faith and hope, but instead, he must chastise the faithless.

He speaks haltingly, full of anguish for the pain he must cause his listeners, and their eventual realization that they had been fooled into complying with a foreign agenda that brought death, destruction, and pain, instead of peace and joy.
