When King David sinned against the Lord God Almighty, by committing adultery with Bathsheba (as described in the Old Testament of the Bible), he had two options. Either he could seek the Lord’s forgiveness, accept that forgiveness, and move on with his life, genuinely repentant, or he could assume that all was lost, and that none of God’s promises to him would manifest. David chose to seek God’s forgiveness.
There are many in God’s kingdom who have committed egregious sins against God’s people, and who assume that it is only a matter of time before they are expelled from God’s kingdom, presumably when God eventually discovers the sin. Accordingly, they are lured into accepting Satan’s illicit promises, including the promise to keep their little secret hidden from God. You should know that God knows of every sin you have ever committed. There is nothing you have ever done that will shock or surprise him. For example, you may have heard that committing adultery will bar you from being sealed into God’s kingdom. However, if you believe that you have committed adultery, yet you are sealed and raptured into God’s millennial kingdom, then God does not consider the sin to have caused spiritual contamination. This does not mean that future acts that betray your marriage will be viewed in the same way, but you can be certain that your current seal is genuine, and that the indwelling Holy Spirit Of God knows everything there is to know about you. Children of God, believe God’s promises. The Lord God Almighty is El Shaddai. Winston
