Ancient Secrets

A long time ago, the spirit of the Lord came to me and said that I would see his kingdom established in the earth. I did not fully understand what he meant, but I knew that I would be alive when Jesus of Nazareth returns to establish his kingdom. Many decades have passed since that visitation, and many memories have long been erased, but the memory of that visit remains etched in eternity.

When the Lord promises you that something will happen, resist the temptation to assume that it will happen instantly, or in the exact manner that you anticipate. Resist the temptation to discount anything that is not an exact representation of your imaginings. Ask the Lord whether what you are witnessing or experiencing is the fulfillment of his promise. Ask him again, and again as each new revelation unfolds. Ask him until eternity proclaims, "Amen."
